BREAM BAY YOGA
"Yogic Path to Holistic Wellness"

Yoga Therapy
Yoga Therapy is a holistic self-care system. It supports you as a whole person—mind, body, and spirit—rather than focusing on just one part of your health. It recognises that caring for all of these aspects of yourself matters if you want to feel well and truly thrive.
An ideal holistic self-care system brings together the key cornerstones of well-being, including physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual health. Instead of treating these as separate, it takes an interconnected approach. It also includes both measurable (objective) outcomes and personal (subjective) experiences, so that change is something you can notice—and something you can feel.
Classical Yoga offers the strong framework for yoga therapists to base self-care practices on because it brings these different dimensions of well-being together. Within this framework are practices and principles that speak to the full range of human experience. By using a bio-psycho-social-spiritual model, it recognises the importance of genetics, mindset, environment, and purpose.
True change happens when all layers of the self—body, breath, mind, behaviour, and identity—are aligned into one unified, integrated whole.
